The Lifeline Cryogenics Cord Blood Mission

Lifeline Cryogenics would like to acknowledge all of the physicians, midwives and nurses who have assisted in collection cord blood using Lifeline Cryogenic’s collection kits.

Our mission is to provide offices with up to date research, legislation and clinical advances in cord blood collection, banking and utilization. Currently 17 states mandate cord blood education, Connecticut being the most recently added to the list. These states represent 69% percent of the births in the United States.

Stem Cell Therapeutic and Research Act of 2005

In 2005 The Federal Government enacted the legislation “Stem Cell Therapeutic and Research Act of 2005″ The legislation recognized the advantages of cord blood and granted expansion of the current public cord blood inventory by 150,00 units. These units are to fulfill a need for genetically unrelated cord blood units.
